This is to advise that Governor Wes Moore ordered the United States Flag lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, June 7, 2025. This is the day of interment for Emergency Vehicle Driver Charles Mudra of the Baltimore City Fire Department who died in the line of duty on Friday, May 16, 2025. As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag is lowered to half-staff as well.
The Maryland flag is currently flying at half-staff. After sunset on Saturday, June 7, 2025, the United States flag and Maryland flag should return to full-staff.
This is to advise that Governor Wes Moore ordered the Maryland Flag lowered to half-staff effective immediately. This action is for Emergency Vehicle Driver Charles Mudra of the Baltimore City Fire Department who died in the line of duty today, Friday, May 16, 2025.
