Today, Governor Larry Rhoden ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in honor of former state legislator Karen Soli. She served in the South Dakota State House of Representatives from 2013 to 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm CT on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD.
