Pork ribs. It doesn't get more American than that. We have a twist on the traditional "Barbecue Ribs" of Texas, though. These juicy ribs fall right off the bone after baking them in a sealed double foil wrap. No need for barbecue sauce, because we are going to use the leftover juices as a sauce. You will love these!
Ingredients:
2-3 lbs of pork ribs
soy sauce - 1/2 cup
maple syrup - 1/2 cup
sriracha sauce - (to taste, it's spicy!)
lemon juice - from a half of a lemon
Directions:
1 - Preheat oven to 300° F
2 - Mix the soy sauce, sriracha sauce, maple syrup and lemon juice in a bowl.
3 - Lay ribs on two layers of foil, shiny side out and meaty side down
4 - Lay two layers of foil on top of ribs and roll and crimp edges tightly, edges facing up to seal
5 - Place on baking sheet and bake for 2-2 1/2 hours or until meat is starting to shrink away from the ends of the bone
6 - Remove from oven and pour out sauce drippings into a serving bowl
7 - Heat broiler
8 - Arrange pork on broiler pan, bony side up
9 - Broil for 1 or 2 minutes until sauce is cooked on and bubbly
10- Turn ribs over and repeat on other side
11- Put a ladle in the sauce and drizzle over ribs, & serve!
As always, we love to hear from our customers!
