Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Former Mayor Roy Johnson On Monday, March 23, 2026, Former Mayor Roy Johnson of Holly Hill passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He began his career of service in the United States Air Force as a Master Mechanic. After becoming a trusted member of his community, he was elected as Mayor of Holly Hill and served two successful terms. Before his passing he served as District 4 Commissioner and Vice Mayor. He will be remembered for his love of community and dedication to improving the City of Holly Hill. To honor former Mayor Roy Johnson, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, and all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the City of Holly Hill from sunrise to sunset on Friday, April 10, 2026.
