Governor Brian Kemp has ordered the lowering of U.S. & Georgia State flags on all state buildings and ground on Monday, February 17, 2025, in honor and memory of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Ryan Austin O'Hara of Lilburn, Georgia. Sergeant O'Hara was one of the military members on board the mid-air Black Hawk Helicopter Crash that occurred near Washington D.C. Flags will be lowered from sunrise to sunset to honor his bravery and sacrifice to our country.
