Governor JB Pritzker has ordered the lowering of the United States and Illinois State Flags to half staff from Sunrise, Saturday, February 15, through Sunset, Monday, February 17, 2025. This is done in honor of the passing of Officer Jason Roscow, who grew up in Illinois, served his country in the United States Air Force and protected the community he served in North Las Vegas, where he was tragically killed in the line of duty on February 4, 2025. Roscow's procession and memorial was held this week in Las Vegas, with a funeral Mass being held on Monday, February 17th in Illinois.
