Governor Mike Braun is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Elkhart County in honor of Former Elkhart Mayor Richard Lee “Dick” Moore, 91, who passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in Elkhart County on Saturday, May 17. Governor Braun is asking businesses and residents located in Elkhart County to lower their flags as well.
