Gov. Andy Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be raised to full-staff at 11:30 a.m. EST on Monday, Jan. 20, and remain there until the conclusion of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony. Once the presidential inauguration ceremony has ended, flags should immediately be returned to half-staff where they are to remain until sunset on Tuesday, Jan. 28, in honor of former President Jimmy Carter.
