Beginning January 1, we will enter a four-day period of mourning and reflection in remembrance of the victims of the French Quarter terrorist attack.

Flags will be flown at half-staff each of the four days. We also ask that churches, public buildings, and other institutions join us in ringing their bells 14 times on January 4, at 3:15 p.m. in honor of the 14 innocent lives lost. We will never forget.
