By order of the Governor and in accordance with the Honoring Hometown Heroes Act, flags over the State Capitol and all State office buildings will be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on August 15, in honor of Memphis Police Officer Demetrice Lavelle Johnson who was killed in the line of duty on August 2, 2024.
