After having 2 aluminum adjustable brackets breaking this year, I wanted to try a true heavy duty bracket. I fastened this to my porch post. The angle is a little steeper than I would have liked, so I just lowered the bracket a bit to have the pole clear my gutter. Delivery was very fast.
