Governor Mike Dunleavy today ordered the Alaska State flag to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in honor of former state Representative Roger Jenkins who passed away in June.

“Rose and I were saddened to learn of Roger’s passing and hope that all Alaskans will keep his family and friends in their prayers during this difficult time,” said Governor Mike Dunleavy.

Jenkins served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 1985 to 1986 representing the Spenard area of Anchorage.
