Governor Kemp ordered the lowering of the U.S. & Georgia state flags to half-staff on all state buildings and grounds throughout Georgia on Monday, February 5, 2024. This is in honor of the passing of State Representative Richard Smith. February 5, 2024 is also the day of Smith's interment.
