Today, in accordance with the United States flag code, Governor Josh Shapiro ordered Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Philadelphia County to fly at half-staff immediately in honor of Philadelphia police officer Lynneice Hill. The flags shall be lowered to half-staff until the date of interment, which has not yet been announced. 

UPDATE:

Flags should remain lowered through today, July 26, 2023 and return to full-staff at SUNSET today.
