Gov. Andy Beshear has ordered flags at all state buildings to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Saturday, March 16, in honor of an Elliott County EMT who died Tuesday.

Ronald Drake Adams, age 34, was an EMT with Elliott County and King’s Daughters Medical Transport. He was on call Tuesday, March 12, when he died unexpectedly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. EDT Saturday in Laurel Gorge Enterprise Baptist Church in Sandy Hook. Interment will follow at Binion Cemetery.

Gov. Beshear encourages all individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies to join in this tribute.
