This is to advise that Governor Wes Moore has ordered the Maryland Flag lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset, Thursday, August 31, 2023, for International Overdose Awareness Day. This day aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of drug-related death in the continuing fight against the opioid epidemic in Maryland.
