All United States and Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Dauphin County currently at half-staff in honor of Steelton Fire Department Chief Gene Vance shall be returned to full staff on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at sunset.

Today, Governor Josh Shapiro ordered United States and Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Dauphin County to immediately fly at half-staff in honor of Steelton Fire Department Chief Gene Vance. The United States and Commonwealth flags shall fly at half-staff until sunset on the date of interment, which has not yet been determined. All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
