Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Philadelphia County currently flying at half-staff in honor of Temple University's Acting President JoAnne A. Epps should be returned to Full-Staff at sunset on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Governor Josh Shapiro ordered Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Philadelphia County to immediately fly at half-staff in honor of Temple University's Acting President JoAnne A. Epps who passed away suddenly on September 19, 2023. 

The flags shall be lowered to half-staff until the date of interment, which has not yet been announced. 

All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
