Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
This is my third purchase and and l always order two flags at a time..one for a gift and one to replace my own. They are wonderful flags for our high wind area. I also appreciate the half staff alerts through out the year.

The flags are perfect for our amount of wind we receive as have woods on three sides of our property. The flags tatter on the top right too quickly. It would be nice if they could have reinforced stitchining. I put glue on the entire edge and messed up one of the last 2 I just bought. I used a differnt glue. I will use it as a winter flag maybe.
