Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
This flag is perfect for the wind condition where we live. I have been buying the same one for years.

I've used both printed and embroidered flags, and they all eventually need to be replaced eventually due to fading or wearing out from wind. This flag is at a good price point to replace when needed.
