In accordance with Executive Order #20-30, Governor Laura Kelly today ordered flags throughout the city of McPherson, Kansas, to be flown at half-staff Thursday, December 17, 2020, from sunup to sundown, in honor of McPherson Assistant City Manager Bo Carl Moddelmog, who passed away on Saturday.

Flags will be flown at half-staff on the day of Moddelmog’s funeral service.

“Mayor Tom Brown brought to my administration’s attention just how much Bo Moddelmog meant to McPherson and the surrounding areas. He conveyed that all those who knew Bo spoke highly of his integrity, wisdom, leadership, and kind heart,” Governor Laura Kelly said. “I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Bo Moddelmog during this heartbreaking time.”
