Govenor Abbott is allowing U.S. & Texas flags to be displayed at half-staff in Van Zandt County June 17-18, 2024 to honor Van Zandt County Precinct 2 Commissioner Virgil Melton Jr.
Individuals, businesses, municipalities, counties and other political subdivisions in the surrounding area may fly flags at half-staff.
