THE TRUTH ABOUT AUTO FLAGS
No auto flag can withstand expressway speeds. All material will begin to fail rapidly over 50 mph. Remember, the speed of the wind is your car speed plus head wind. If you're driving 50 mph into a 20 mph headwind the combined effect is 70 mph. As a test, I drove round-trip 45 miles daily at 77 miles an hour for 10 days. The auto flag was significantly damaged, see photo.

    It is made very well and It is expensive but it looks like it will stand up to the mission. I have many people notice and either give me a thumb up or I had a veteran thank me for flying the colors. That brought tears to my eyes, and I thanked him for his service. It is a way to recognize their gift to America.
