Governor Mike DeWine has ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Ohio to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in honor of former State Representative Marilyn Slaby on the day of her funeral.

The order applies to all public buildings and grounds throughout Summit and Stark counties, as well as the Ohio Statehouse, Vern Riffe Center, and Rhodes Tower.

All other public buildings and grounds throughout Ohio may fly the United States and Ohio flags at half-staff at their discretion for the same period.
