Governor Kevin Stitt has directed that all American and Oklahoma flags on state property be flown at half-staff in honor of LeFlore County Deputy Thomas “Walker” LeMay, who recently lost his life in the line of service. He is survived by his daughter, parents, and brother.

“Deputy LeMay served his community with courage, commitment, and honor. His loss is deeply felt across our entire state. Sarah and I are praying for his family, friends, loved ones, and community,” said Governor Kevin Stitt.

“His dedication to serving his community and our state reflects the very best of Oklahoma. In lowering the flags across state properties, we honor Deputy LeMay’s memory and brave service.”

Flags will be flown at half-staff from 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026.
