Today, Governor Josh Shapiro ordered Commonwealth and United States flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds in Chester County to fly at half-staff in honor of West Whiteland Fire Company’s Former Fire Chief George “Bud” Turner, who passed away on May 23, 2026.

The flags shall remain lowered until sundown on the date of interment, Monday, June 1, 2026.
