By order of the Governor, flags over the State Capitol and all state office buildings shall be flown at half-staff effective immediately until sunrise on Monday, July 13, 2026, in remembrance of state employee Cathy Sims, who died in a tragic accident while driving her TDOT maintenance vehicle in Haywood County on July 8, 2026.
