Governor Mark Gordon (R-WY) and all of Wyoming mourn the loss of Taylee Paige Dresser and Gregory Trosper, Jr., killed on June 17, 2026 by an alleged drunk driver in Fremont County.
The Governor has ordered the Wyoming flags to be lowered to half-staff at the Wyoming Capitol and in Fremont County from sunrise on the day of internment for both Taylee and Gregory. Flags should be flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 for the funeral of Taylee and on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 for the funeral of Gregory.
Flags are being lowered by order of Governor Mark Gordon out of his deep respect for the Northern Arapaho Tribe and the Eastern Shoshone Tribes and the terrible loss felt by the entire state.
"Jennie and I were saddened to hear the tragic news of the premature deaths of Taylee Paige Dresser and Gregory Trosper, Jr. allegedly at the hands of an impaired driver," Governor Gordon said. "Both families have been part of the tribal government for generations. Wyoming mourns with the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone Tribe at this senseless and terrible loss. We send our prayers to the families of Taylee and Gregory and to all who knew and loved them.”
Taylee Paige Dresser was Councilwoman Sami Dresser's daughter, her father was Dustin Condo. Taylee worked in Finance for the Northern Arapaho Tribe, was a talented Hoop Dancer and Jingle Dress Dancer. She was featured dancing in the 2023 film “Who She Is” shown at the Wyoming International Film Festival. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Gregory Trosper Jr. is Kim Harjo's, Co-Chair of the Northern Arapaho Business Council, nephew, his parents are Diane Brown and Gregory Trosper Sr. Gregory was a phenomenal outdoorsman that fished and hunted very well and worked at the Food Distribution Center with the Tribe. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
