Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I have flown these flags 24/7 for roughly 10 years. They are great quality. I've only had one that started to fray and that was after a a day of 60+ mph winds- and it was the top edge of the flag, I replace them about every two years, just due to fading. I highly recommend these flags.
I have been flying the American flag for about five days. It looks great as it’s holding up very well compared to any other flags. The cost was good.. i’m in a high wind area in Brigantine New Jersey on the coast. Let’s give it a month to see how it holds up.
We run drill rigs on the east coast. Usually pretty good winds and or hurricanes. This is the only flag I will buy and have bought for a few years now. We always like to fly a flag at the top of our Derrick and none other last a month. Beat flags best service. Wish I could upload some photos
this my second flag. The last one I got lasted over a year. I live in Florida by the beach, This flag really held up to all kinds of weather
I haven’t put this flag up yet. I hope I ordered the same flag from you that I ordered last spring. If it is the same flag it was and should be one of the best flags I have ordered. It was nice an heavy and when we had a storm or bad wind it held up better then most flags I have ever had.
This flag holds up extremely well in intense weather. Our business is located in a large, open area where gusty winds are predominant. We are very pleased with the performance of this flag, and will continue to purchase future flags from American Flags Express.
This looks like it is very well made. Well order another if it holds up to the wind.
This flag holds up well in a high-wind area. We live on a mountaintop, always very windy, and the previous flag I purchased (this is my second) lasted 2 years! Good value!
I write an amazing group of brothers and sisters that traveled the state of Oklahoma and put flag poles up for free for veterans. And I always ride my motorcycle with a flag. So 24 seven there’s always a flag flying behind my motorcycle. And this flag stands to test of time of lasting the longest on my travels.
