Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
We wanted a new flag to put up for this very special Fourth of July, celebrating 250 years! It has not disappointed! We have bought several flags in the past, and each one has been a high-quality flag!
I reside in a very windy area. I have purchased several flags in the past and the held up very well. I always purchase the high wind version.
I have had this flag flying for over a year and not a single stitch or seam has come undone which is significant considering the high winds we experience in Nebraska. I have not owned another flag that has endured our weather so well. The only reason I purchased a new one was the colors are just starting to fade. This is an excellent product.
My previous flag wrapped around the pole as if it had a mind to thwart itself and it true job to float in the wind! This heavier duty Poly-Max for Extreme Winds has yet to wrap around the pole! Now, I have it flying with the pole parallel to the ground so that the flay is fully displayed sideways. If I put it at an angle between parallel and perpendicular, it does wrap around the pole. I'm thrilled with how it handles the wind.
I purchased the reinforced flag due to having strong winds. The other flag I had that was purchased from Amazon only lasted 2 days and it tore. This flag arrived and immediately after looking at it I could tell it was quality. It has been up for a couple of weeks and it still looks brand new. I am so happy that I purchased this flag. Thank you
Extreme Wind
Material and quality is definitely heavy duty grade. So far, I'm impressed that the flag endured 75 mph wind and storm! Great flag!!
This is my second order from your company. The flags for windy areas are the best. We live in Kansas where wind is a constant thing, as well as being in tornado alley. A severe thunderstorm hit a couple weeks ago, tornado sirens went off. Trees were down, limbs ripped from trees all around the neighborhood. The American flag held, though slightly battered. You make a product that stands up to your advertising, the best flag we have ever purchased. Buying American means a lot to us.my husband served his country, God Bless America!
Awesome flag. Stands up to Lake Superior winter weather. Will order again. Last longer than others I have purchased.
