This is to advise that Governor Wes Moore ordered the Maryland Flag be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset, Saturday, February 3, 2024. This is for former State Delegate Rudolph C. Cane, who passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2024. Former State Delegate Cane represented Legislative District 37A. 

At sunset on Saturday, February 3, 2024, the Maryland flag will continue to fly at half-staff until sunset on the day of interment for Navy Special Warfare Operator First Class Christopher J. Chambers.
