Add a Half-Staff / Mourning Ribbon
When an official proclamation is made for the American flag to be lowered to half staff, the accepted solution on a wall mounted flag set is to tie a long black ribbon to the top of the flagpole allowing it to drape over the American flag. Our Black Mourning Ribbon is hemmed on all four sides and made with the same fade resistant invista nylon 66 used in our commercial quality Endura-Nylon American flags. Ribbon measures 5' x 2.75" (Actual length is 10 feet, the fabric is folded in half with 2 grommets placed at the top fold for attaching to pole.)

I bought a 3x5 Air Force flag from you about a year ago and at that time I had purchased an American flag set from Wal-Mart. the Wal-mart flag and mounting set was so cheap that it did not last the summer. We loved the Air Force flag from you with the quality of the flag, pole, and the hanger that when it came time to replace the American flag there was no question who I was going to buy it from. With a son in the Air Force we are very proud to fly the flags!
the product is great and we like the way the flag swivels on the pole. The only comment I have is that there no instructions on how to fasten the flag tot he pole. I am still not sure if I have it on right or not.
This is a great set. The flagpole is designed so the unit the flag is attached to pivots in the wind, reducing the liklihood of its wrapping around the flag pole. The flag attaches to the staff at three points using an easy attachment, plastic screw in a flag ring and a clip that is placed under the head of the screw on the upper flag ring to keep the flag high on the pole. The flag mount can be adjusted through a wide range of angles, to ensure the flag pole is at the desired angle, and the flag flies as well as possible. The flag itself is very sturdy, well constructed. I have flown one for over a year, night and day. That one still looks quite bright, though I am replacing it with a new one because the old flag brushed against fresh paint on our house. This set is a housewarming gift, for my niece. The company provides wonderful service. You'll be pleased (and no, I'm not on the payroll, just an appreciative customer).
I have been more than satisfied with the flag. It met my expectations and then some. Delivery was prompt. The only small complaint I have is that it came without instructions. Other than that it is awesome.
