Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. More information can be found here on our American Flag Repair Services.
Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
Excellent (5 Stars)
Appreciate the quality and durability. Flag on a pole next to our lake. Subjected to lots of weather changes and wind.
We have not put it up yet
I bought the Extra Reinforced American Flag. The Flag and the workmanship are beautiful. I guest time will tell if the extra stitching wholes up in the high winds. I'm one of those people that "never" takes the flag down even in bad weather!
