Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

Compared to the PolyMax flag which was very heavy and wouldn't move much without a 20+ mph wind, the Endura Nylon flies beautifully with the slightest breeze. The colors start to fade after a year or so which I would expect out of any flag flying 24/7 in the brutal Central Florida sun and rain. I lower it for hurricanes but just as a precaution and respect for the flag, I'm sure it would do just fine in 100MPH+ winds. The colors really pop at night with two LED lights at the base of the pole. The flagsexpress hurricane rated pole along with this flag are two purchases I have never regretted. Karen was very helpful and professional. Really can't say enough about how satisfied we are as customers of Flags Express!
