Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

I have used these flags consistently since installing this weather station in 2014. Even with the highly variable and frequently harsh winds along the Chesapeake Bay these flags have a minimum 12 month duty cycle before I am compelled to hoist a new one to its place about 34 feet up on the top mast of the station. I'm proud to hoist them and quite pleased with their durability. Many thanks to Tom and his capable team!

For several years I have been ordering an American Flag for our 50 foot pole with two 100 spot lights among at least 18 coleus plants and two hanging baskets of red geraniums surrounded by 4 strands of white outdoor lights. The flag lasts a good year before the blue background begins to fade. The flag has never torn and just a focal point for our acre. Within days of ordering I receive it.
We live on the high point in the Hill Country of Texas. We go through flags on a yearly basis. This flag is the first we have bought from you. On examination it looks to be excellently sewn for high winds. We give it a five for now and will let you know in a year if it outlasts it's predecessors.
