Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I was very pleased with my recent order of the heavy duty flag. The order was filled very quickly and it arrived on time. These flags work well in Kansas where we often have extremely high winds. Most flags need to be replaced every 4-6 months or oftener. Your flags last well over a year. They may fade some, but do not get tattered as quickly. Great product and service! Thank you.
totally better than expected.
This flag is awesome.
Extra two row stitching at the ends. Will stand up to the winds & the ever present problem of my flag getting snagged on the end of the rain gutter on front of my house. The smaller size flag will help with eleminating this problem also.
Never disappointed always high quality products for a more than reasonable price;
The folks at American Flag Express are great to work with and very helpful in helping me with my selection.
