Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. More information can be found here on our American Flag Repair Services.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

Want to safely remove wrinkles? (Steam is the secret)
  • Set your iron for Synthetics (with steam)
  • Once iron is hot, test a small corner (Iron temperatures can vary)
  • You can add a piece of cloth between the iron and the flag for extra protection
  • Try spraying stubborn wrinkles with water for better results

Remove flag wrinkles with extra steam and med-low iron temperature

This is the first purchase I have made with American flags. With their inventory and prompt service it certainly won't be my last purchase. An A-1 company.

    Good so far

I bought this smaller flag because the one I had frayed at the end from snagging on the roof (3' x 5'). This new one looks and feels sturdy. Only time will tell how it will hold up with the weather. Satisfied so far.

I ordered a replacement flag about a week before Memorial Day. The flag was delivered in only 3-4 days. Great service. I was able to fly the flag for Memorial Day. Flag flies on Cape Cod. It is always windy. Last flag lasted about 8-9 years in high winds before it faded. Terrific product. Holds up well.

    Excellent Customer Service

Easy online purchase and the 4th or 5th flag I have purchased from them. This last purchase of a large flag was going to be delayed, I received a call with an update and confirmation that the delivery date change wouldn't effect my plans. Very helpful and every experience has been above satisfactory.

    EXCELLENT FLAGS

Posted by Paul Carroll on Jun 25, 2016

I live in an area with a lot of wind, and a lot of it can get pretty heavy. I used to buy standard flags locally and they would last a month or so. I now buy the extra reinforced flags for high windy areas and I get an average of around 8-9 months to a flag. Several of my neighbors have converted also. Keep up the great job.

Wasn't the flag that I thought I ordered last time but a co-worker said they had good luck and it looks good. So we will give it a try.
