Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

This is our first nylon flag, previously we had cotton. I'm interested to see how this one lasts. It sure flies nicely.
I couldn't be more pleased with the flag I recently purchased from American Flags Express. Unfortunately, I think I chose the wrong size. I wanted to replace the one that drapped my father's coffin, however, I am choosing to fly it on my 20+ft. flag pole. It looks a little big -- too long, but I didn't know how to chose, so it's good until it doesn't work anymore. A little disappointed because of the scale of the flag to the pole. That said, the handling of my order, the materials the flag is made from and the speed of delivery makes me sure to recommend this company again should the need arise.
