Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
You have always been so relaiable. When my school was built in 1975, a massive flag pole was installed. The flag was too small and removed daily. That is when I "adopted" the pole and donated the 8 x 12 flag. When the larger flag was added, a security light was attached to keep it aloft 27-7. As I approach retirement, one item on my bucket list was to make sure my school had enough flags for the next 15+ years. The order was delivered in record time.
