Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
A great flag for outdoors. I renew this flag almost annually as it takes a beating from Texas weather. Very satisfied with this flag.
just as advertised. product is bright, well made. looks great
Very well made, strong, flies great and proud.
Beautifully crafted. Extra durable for higher winds and rain. Should last quite some time. Hangs wonderfully and doesn't get tangled easily.
I ordered two of these flags and they are very well made, very vibrant colors, quality American products
very happy with my new american flag. fast service and good quality. thank you, yours joseph emanuele jr
it's very windy in middle Georgia, my old flags did not last long, this one with the extra stitches looks like it will last a lifetime.
Very good quality. I purchased because the other flag I had did not last very long. I bought the average to high wind flag. I proudly raised it on the morning of July 4th. Hopefully the 100 deg. Texas heat and unusually high winds will not effect it.
The quality is excellent!! We live in Idaho and last flag lasted 2 months. The new one will definitely last way longer. I purchased the average to high wind version
