Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I fly my flag 24 hrs a day and these are good flags. The handle the wind well and normally fade before seems fail. T replace my flags every 2-3 years.
Beautiful flag. Well made.
The flag appears to be great quality but time will tell. Just hung up a day ago but the elements of northern Minnesota will tell in time the quality.
The flag is beautiful. Crisp colors and the material seems to be of pretty good quality.
Already flying, looks great. We always fly a flag. Take them down when they get ripped.
