Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I called and spoke with customer service for product information. Most importantly, the flag HAD to be made in America. Customer service said it absolutely was. I ordered the flag, and was very impressed with the quality and workmanship. I will continue to do business with American Flags Express. I highly recommend them!.
I've been ordering from Flags Express for a few years. My business is located in a very windy area and the flags are outdoors. These flags hold up so very well!
Great quality. Easy to reorder.
Excellent - 5 Stars
Simply beautiful! Looks just as I expected. If I must look for any negatives, the only one would be that the reinforced double stitched edge is puckered at some of the edges and not flat. Time will tell if it can withstand our gusty winds here in Fountain Hills.
