Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

We have purchase the Endura Nylon American flag for the second time in the last 3 years. Our business is in Minnesota, so a flag has to stand the test of some brutal weather here - from subzero temps to over 100 degrees and humidity to straight line winds at times. I can say that this is the only flag that seems to be made strong enough to withstand the Minnesota winters/summers. Previous to purchasing from American Flags Express we had to keep buying a new American flag every 6-9 months. With this one I can go about 18 months on the flag. I'm happy and feel it's a good value for the money for our business.
