Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
Excellent - 5 Stars
I put her on my bike yesterday but have to brought it on the highway yet. Looks like I wont get ANY fraying from this flag as the end is reinforced and multiple stitches to keep it all together. Looks like a good strong flag for highway driving.
