Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
This is an awesome flag. It is definitely worth the money. After spending a lot of money on various flags that shredded and frayed in less than a week, I finally bought this one and it has held up well for the last few weeks. No tears, no shredding, no fraying, nada. It still looks brand new. I have it in the back of my truck and travel at speeds of 60-80 mph and it holds up. Definitely recommend for home or vehicles! Well done, AFE!!! I wish you made a Gadsden flag of this quality. I can't seem to find one that holds up.
Much sturdier, better stitching and clearly heavier than the ones we've been using from Walmart. Those I average 2 per year. This should last considerably longer. Thanks for the quick delivery!
