Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
We live on the water which is extremely high winds..so far this flag has been holding up, even with the microbursts we get. We had a Valley Forge WindProof Flag but it was shredded in a matter of days.
Hi! This flag is VERY well constructed! I've bought many U.S. flags over the years and I can honestly say, this one is at the top of the list for quality! Well built from the embroidered stars and brass grommets, to the double stitching on the stripes, to the fabric and colors, to the reinforced corners and four rows of stitching on the fly end! Get a lot of wind here which can reduce the life of a normal flag but this one will last! Great service as well!
