Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.
I can tell the flag I purchased was made to last with the triple stitching.

When we realized our flag was not in good enough shape for Memorial Day, I got online and ordered a new one. It was super last minute but it made it in time to fly. The quality of the flag you can feel. They are very thick with stitching above the standard that you see with even good quality American made flags. I appreciate the half staff emails we also get. I work for the Postal Service so it’s important to fly our flag properly. We will be lifelong customers from here on out.
