Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

Flag surprised me on our truck

Posted by Tracy on May 30, 2018

Gotta say, it was hard spending so much money on a flag as the only reason we purchased it was to fly behind our 73 K5 Blazer for memorial weekend. The journey we took was about 2 hours on the freeway going 65 mph plus and this thing did not shed a thread whipping in the wind on the freeway. All other flags we have purchased shredded within 30 minutes, but not this one. It truly shocked us how well it did traveling on the so cal freeways and also how beautiful it is.

Excellent as Received within 4 days. The description of the American Flag was 100% correct. Will be flown 5 to 6 months on the shores of Grand Lake. Anticipate will last a long time. If so....Will definitely purchase again when ready. BTW, Shipping was reasonable compared to a competitor's like flag.
