Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Double the Life of Your American Flags
If you purchase high quality American flags, 6' x 10' or larger, consider our flag repair service. Eventually all flags wear out but if you return your American flag to us for repairs we may be able to double the life of it. The secret is to send it in at the first signs of wear. More information can be found here on our American Flag Repair Services.

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

EXTRA REINFORCED Poly-Max American Flag (Extreme G

Posted by Robert Haase on Oct 21, 2015

We have been a customer of FLAGS EXPRESS for a number of years. Since we reside on the western shores of Lake Erie we need a durable product. This is what we have always received, flags that are a match for lake winds at a fair price.

We live in a heavy wind area, and typically go through a regular 5x8 flag every two months. This flag we bought lasted for 10 months before finally coming to ribbons. This is the only American Flag we will buy from now on!

Took all flags to local golf cart upholsterer to have perimeter sewn with upholstery thread. Does wonders for the lifetime of the flags as we are in a mountain pass and subject to Santa Ana winds.

    Flag Review

This Flag was purchased to withstand the Desert winds of Arizona. My hope is it will last longer than the flags available in Big Box stores. Fine strong appearing material adds to the attention to detail to these flags.
