Heavy Duty American Flags - Better Flags For Earth & Beyond™

Recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics, our 2-Ply Polyester American flags are your best choice for extreme winds and intense sun. If you are not in a high wind area, we recommend our Endura Nylon American Flag, which is just as fade resistant as our 2-Ply Polyester, but made from 200 denier nylon which flies better in average to high wind conditions.

  • 100% Made in the USA
  • Commercial Quality for Extreme Winds
  • UV Resistant
  • 2-Ply Polyester
  • Reinforced for Wind Damage Resistance
  • Sewn stripes & embrodiered stars
  • Unidirectional Chain Stitch for all horizontal seams (which makes the flag much stronger)
  • Lock Stitch for all edge hems
  • 100% Made Tough in the USA

Flying Flags on Vehicles
We highly advise against flying any flag on a vehicle except in slow-moving parades. If you're driving 45 mph into a 15 mph wind the combined effect is 60 mph. On the expressway the combined effect can easily exceed 75 mph, category one hurricane winds! At that speed grommets can fail and flags fly off onto another drivers windshield. Flag life is dependent on many factors when being used on a vehicle. Factors include vehicle turbulence, flag is flown in slipstream or wind shadow and combined vehicle speed and wind speed/heading.

    extra reinforced poly-max American flag

Posted by Unknown on Jul 10, 2014

this is our second flag from your company after buying flags that were just too light weight. It will be hung this week right before the 4th holiday. The sprockets(or whatever they are called ) are definetly stronger and lasted longer than the flag hung, the problem was in the flag itself which frayed in our wind in western South Dakota prairie, we live in what I would call a HIGH wind area with what is alot of high wind days. The flag was taken down and reinforced a couple times before we ordered new.

    Poly-Max American Flag (Extreme Wind)

Posted by Vicki Voorhees on Jul 10, 2014

I can not say enough about the wonderful flag that I purchased. It has withstood our South Dakota winds which run on average from 15 to 30-plus MPH and still flies proudly in our yard 24/7. I have a light that illuminates it so that I am able to fly it continually. I do not know what you do to make such a sturdy flag, but I will continue to purchase this product in the future. I did purchase two so it may be a while before you hear from me again, but your product is the best! My husband and I have live here in SD for about 4 years and we have gone through at least two flags a year in about a 7 month timeframe. It is such a pleasure to find a "Made in America" flag that is durable. My sincere thanks to you and everyone that works hard to produce this magnificent product ... all of you are priceless!

    Extra Reinforced Flag Review

Posted by Barbara (Price) Gaspar on Jun 19, 2014

We are glad to have found your flags. Here in Wyoming, the wind shreds them in months. Either the end blows out, or the stripes come un-sewn. Although the prices are higher, we're impressed with the extra reinforcement your company offers, and anxious to see how this flag holds up. Will know more by Sept./Oct. Thanks.
